THERE IS A REASON WHY YOU ARE HERE

I have come to understand that every man has one purpose to fulfill while on earth. I believe the journey to ones purpose begins even before birth and is activated when they become born again. You may follow this link to become born again.

God told Jeremiah, that He knew him even when he was in the mother’s womb (Jeremiah 1:5). That is to say, at conception, God knew him. God did not just know him, He had a plan for him.

I can confidently say this based on the life of Jesus Christ our Saviour and Lord. The many prophesies of his birth is evidence of this. That there was a plan before he was even conceived. Jesus’ ministry began officially, when he was baptized by John the Baptist. The Bible says, the spirit of God descended upon him like the shape of a dove. Not only that, a voice was heard from Heaven; proclaiming Jesus as the beloved son of God (Luke 3:22).

Jesus’ ministry of about only three years has impacted the world so much that it cannot be trivialized. But do you realize that after His awesome ministry on earth, the purpose of Jesus was to die? His death, as prophesied, was meant to save all men from sin. That through this sacrifice we might all gain eternal life.

John the Baptist also, his purpose was to baptize Jesus Christ. He was born solely for this purpose. The Baptist preached to many, converted many, baptized many, only in preparation for one. Your whole life also, is in preparation for a single, but hugely significant role in the Kingdom plan.

We see this phenomenon, if I should call it so, in the life and ministry of Moses. Born of Hebrew parents, he was not expected to survive the prevailing circumstances of the time. Miraculously, he ended up in Pharaoh’s own home. Lived a life of luxury as the son of pharaoh’s daughter. He had the best education possible at the time. Don’t forget, Egypt was far advanced in the arts, sciences, mathematics, architecture, you name it.

After his murdering an Egyptian soldier, Moses was forced to live in the wilderness for what seemed like a greater part of his life. Now, this was all part of preparing Moses for that one purpose. He was going to lead God’s people out of Egypt to a promised land. The wilderness experience humbled Moses, he also learnt the ways of a priest from his father in law, Jethro.

Consider this, a man who had experienced both wealth and poverty, far advanced in learning than his peers and anointed from serving a priest, who knew all the ways and customs of the Egyptians. Train as a successor to the egyptian throne. Who else would God have chosen for such a purpose? Moses’ whole life had been lived in preparation to fulfill this one sole purpose. Same for Jesus Christ, same with John the Baptist, it is same for you.

If you have ever asked yourself what you are living for, I wish to inform you that your creator knows. That purpose is waiting for you to walk in it. It was planned out before you were born, and it is waiting to be activated. You may ACTIVATE YOUR PURPOSE NOW, by accepting Jesus as your Lord and personal Saviour.

Pray for the will of God to be done in your life after this. And slowly watch, as this purpose comes to life in you. Consider this #aninvitationtowalkonwater. I leave you with this…

(NLT) You can make many plans, but the Lord’s purpose will prevail. Proverbs 19:21
