A letter from Christian men, both young and old, to our beloved sisters, both of the Lord and in the world.

Dear sisters,

We know you are doing well.

We can tell by how well you look and your smiles on Facebook and Instagram. Our twitter feeds are flooded with photos of you; dark, fair, tall, slim, plump, mixed race. The sunlight and the filter flatter your very much impressive skin tones, you look flawless we will admit.

We show our appreciation of Gods divine art by liking your pictures, sharing them, retweeting and commenting with the appropriate captions. We know you like the attention too. Oh yes, we know, you are always back with more.

Of course you are God’s divine art work. Every single part of you was delicately put together. How else would you look the way you do. And then there is estrogen. The secret ingredient that defines and fines tunes your flawless mouth watering figures.

How do we know you are delicious? We can see every single part of you, even when you are supposedly fully dressed. Those tight jeans, the yoga pants, the small dresses. Now it’s like everyday is “no bra day”. Are we expected not to notice?

Well, we also have testosterone. God put drops of it in our blood. That is what distinguishes us as men. It is also the reason why we can’t keep our eyes off you. It is no fault of ours actually, but you. We mean, you can help us.

Did you know that there was a time when angels came down and slept with women. The good book says, the angels found the women fair. That is to say; beautiful, appealing, maybe even, delicious. There were no tight clothing then, the angels saw the nakedness of the women.

Away from the angels, they are spirit beings. King David is a more relatable example. He saw from the rooftop of his house, a woman. She was “washing herself”. He also saw the nakedness of a woman. It was enough to make him kill a husband to have this woman for himself.

If even angels, who did not have the driving force of testosterone, could leave all of the glory of heaven to be with women, what is the fate of us mere mortals?

Sisters, only you can help us. We have seen too many camel toes. We have seen enough cleavage. We can easily shop for your underwear. We know what size you are everywhere! And we mean, EVERYWHERE!!

In fact, just thinking about all the show you give us. And oh! how our thoughts can run wild. But recently, there as been very little to do with the imagination bit. Do you see what a wreak you have made of us?

If we don’t see so much, it will help us abstain. At least before we marry, we must abstain. And when we do marry, to stick to our wives. We don’t want our eyes wondering when they are supposed to be focused one daughter of Eve.

We can turn off the TV when that twerk video comes on but you, we cannot turn you off. You are walking right infront of us at the mall. We are getting on the same bus to work. You are the one selling the popcorn at the movies. Insta notification, you just dropped a new pix. My God, you are even ushering us to our seat at church.

This is how you can help us. Stop showing us so much detail. Save it. Save it for that special man, the one out of whose ribs you were made. Trust us they will live the seduction.

We leave you with these last words, actually, it is an age old secret. When you want to get a man’s attention…

“Don’t be concerned about the outward beauty of fancy hairstyles, expensive jewelry, or beautiful clothes. You should clothe yourselves instead with the beauty that comes from within, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is so precious to God”. 1 Peter 3:3,4

With πŸ’•,

Your christian brothers,
both young and old in the Lord
